Preschool!

Nora loves school!!! She loves learning and her friends. Nora is to young for preschool so I organized a joy school class with the girls from Nora's nursery class at church. Nora looks forward to school every week. Lila wants to stay home everyday from school and Nora would rather go to school then stay home with me.
These four little cuties are super entertaining. They mostly play so well with each other. Nora talks about her friends from school all the time and she always wants to draw them pictures. She is really a kind and empathetic girl.

New Beginnings

This amazing man is really the best! He got a job working at D&R glass this summer, which made it possible to stay in California. He works hard and busts his butt everyday. He is an incredible asset and loves his job. They love him and value his work. They treat him with kindness and respect. It is so lovely to see him happy in his job again his last job left him feeling stressed and unappreciated. We are so grateful for the events that have led us to this place in our life. The Lord has really watched over us and guided us to where we are supposed to be at this stage in our life.

Juliette's birthday

Disneyland twice in one year?!? I miss having a pass. I checked Lila out of school early so we could go to Disneyland for Juliette's birthday. She of course threw a giant fit, I'm still not sure why. Haha so this is her pouting like a little turd.
Auntie Rachel to the rescue. She distracted her grumpy attitude with makeup.
Nora is seriously the cutest little love but.
She is so fun. We went on a couple rides together while the big kids went on the big rides.
Bug's land was so fun with this silly girl. She kept thinking there were bugs in all the bushes.
Lila warmed up and we had so much fun. I wish we could go to Disneyland at least once a week.
I love these cute cousins! They have started to become such great friends. I love it!

Field Trip!!

Lila's first field trip! I had to be a chaperone I was nervous she was going to get lost. We went to the LA county fair and it was so hot! I had three girls in my group.
The fair of course has a million of these picture face cut outs. We had to stop at every single one of them and each girl had to put their cute little face in to get their picture taken.

It was so fun to experience this with Lila. As a mom you worry so much about your child and whether or not they have friends? Or if they feel sad during the day? Does she know how great she is?

Nora's 3rd Birthday

Happy third birthday to my little sunshine! This girl is sweet and spicy. She is always singing her heart out, taking care of her "babies" or being her big sisters guard dog. She has the best imagination and sweetest disposition. I love this fiesty little nugget and I'm so grateful I'm her mama. She brings sunshine into our lives and is alway there to cheer you up. I was far more emotional this pregnancy than ever before and Nora was so aware of it she would either give me loves or asks me if I need a nap. She is kind, loving, and knows exactly what she wants.
She finds the funniest places to fall asleep. She has been boycotting naps it every once in a while she will crash.
Auntie Courtney is the best and made this beautiful yummy Minnie Mouse cake for Nora's birthday and she couldn't have been more excited.

Arizona

Quick trip to Arizona turned into a little more than I could handle. The two littles and I packed up and started the drive to AZ. About an hour into our drive the car overheated and we pulled off into the parking lot of a Bob's Big Boy. Both girls had fallen asleep in the car and it was a million degrees outside so we had to wait in the lobby of the restaurant. I was so overwhelmed a didn't know what to do. I was pregnant by the way which didn't help. I sat in the lobby with my girls and bawled my eyes out. Lila was so sweet to Nora while she slept on the bench. So I called Drew (he was out of the time) and between him and his lovely mother took care of me. Lynn came and picked us up and tooks us home. She bought us dinner and arranged for a mechanic to come and fix our car. She even let me take her car to Arizona. We left the next day.
It was soo hot!!!! It really wore Nora out. Which was great for me because I got to snuggle her!
Lila loves "playing" with all the dogs! They don't love it so much.

Lila took a million super cute selfies on the way home. We survived and had so much fun!

Back to School

Rachel and Jorge have this lovely tradition of going out to breakfast the day before school starts. We all got hot chocolate and yummy bacon.
Nora loves it too!
I can't believe this beautiful little girl is in Kindergarten!!!! Holy cow she is so grown up. She was so excited and pretty excited that her cousin Helena is in her class. Lila wasn't scared because Helena is in first grade and can help her when she gets nervous or doesn't know what to do. I love this girl.
Lila also has the best teacher in the whole world. Jodi is magical! She can wrangle this whole class and makes them all feel so important and heard, which I can hardly do with the two girls I have.
Nora's school didn't start for another week and she was feeling a little bummed she wasn't in school so we went and played at the park.
The next week she started her preschool And couldn't have been more excited! Two kids in school?!? How did these little girls get so big. Nora loves school and is so sad on days that she doesn't have school. She is one sharp little cookie! She is such a little independent girl who has no problem leaving mom for school.
