Our second winter in Idaho was super "mild", its still colder than I am used to. After a couple of weeks that were way to cold for me to be outside we had a beautiful warm sunny day. Lila and I had so much fun playing in the snow. Our neighbor Jacob came over and showed Lila how to make snow balls and throw them in the street. She absolutely loved this.
Once the snow melted away we were able to play at the park. We decided to have a picnic at Porter Park and play. This is my favorite park in Rexburg, especially during the summer. Not only is it so pretty and green but during the summer they have a splash park and a carousal that Lila loves to go on. When its open she always makes sure that she has her moneys to bring with her.
When it starts warming up around here My other favorite park is the Nature Park in Rexburg. They have duck ponds that we love to visit to feed the ducks. Rexburg in the summer has so much to offer families with children.
Daddy made the mistake of teaching Lila to throw rocks into the water. She now throws rocks in the street, pools, ponds and many other place that she shouldn't, but thats what rocks are for I guess.
We are loving our time here even though we can't wait to be finished with school. We have made some life long friends and will be so sad when they are gone (because they are leaving first) they better stay friends with us or we will be so sad! You have been warned hehe. We have also had so many opportunities that we wouldn't have been given if we were here in Rexburg going to school. We have also learned so much about each other and together we have learned to rely on each other and the Lord.
