For Anyone who has ever been affiliated with my wife's birthday, you know that the word birthday does not make reference to just the day but month as well. I would like to call for a extension of of this rule apply to the posting date of this blog. With that being said Alicia's birthday on the 13th of march was awesome. Thank you to both sides of the family for making it possible, I couldn't have done any of the festivities without your phone calls, presents, and smiles. On her birthday we went to 21, Disneyland, and the House of Blues. The 21 Choices Yogurt was a first for this year. For those who are wondering what 21 Choices its a frozen yogurt place that is only located into three different places in California. Two in Our beloved Claremont and One in Pasadenna. They offer 5 different flavors everyday and two "staple" flavors. so needless to say on her day I workedout a deal and named a flavor after her for that day including her two favorite things peanut butter and chocolate. After 21 we enjoyed opening Alicia's first birthday present with my brother in law Jorge and Sister Rachel. They along with my other sibling's got her a ipod Shuffle. She has since worked out with it and loves it!
Disneyland is always a great place for those who love living. It always amazes me how we still year after year find that our heart is intertwined to this historical icon. Thank you D-land. While there Alicia's longtime friend Kristina came with the rest of my family to celebrate at Disneyland. Kristina was a blast to have with us that day and I wish to give a Big Shout Out to her for being so Rad!
Once night hit we concluded at The House of Blues which was really fun. The food and cake from Somecurst was the perfect ending to a great day.
What Alicia really wanted for her birthday...maybe next year.

Thank you to everyone that made this day special. Everyday I think to myself how lucky am I to have such a amazing wife. Thank you for always making me happy and making everyday just as exciting as the last one. I love you!!

Wow my head is so big. Thank you. It defiantly was not easy but well worth it.
oh, so sad to miss out. maybe someone should declare alicia's birthday a state holiday so i can have the day off and come down next time (hmmm, drew? think you could pull that off? the gauntlet has been thrown!).

Can't believe I missed out on those festivities and Alecia's Birthday Surprise flavor of the day at 21! I would have thought I could have at least eaten some fro-yo on the big day. Dang! Maybe next year. So Drew, what I really want to know, is do you have to try and top that next year. Sounds like you set the bar pretty high.
